Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike – the Bangalore council has given its consent to conduct awareness campaigns in all the 69 healthcare centers in Bangalore. Since most of the women who visit these healthcare centers are from communities Sukhibhava wants to work, we consider this as a great start to reach out to the hundreds of thousands of women without proper menstrual hygiene in Bangalore. A distribution model will be custom built after every awareness session in each healthcare center.
So far awareness sessions have been conducted to 158 healthcare assistants working in the 69 healthcare centers in Bangalore. Sukhibhava will start reaching out to the women in the communities in July,2014.
